Welcome to Chestnut Class

The staff teaching in Year 3 are Mr. Allery and Miss. Hodgson!

 Welcome to Year 3!  We are looking forward to a fun filled term with you all. 

This year, our PPA will be covered by Miss Jones.

Important Information

Our PE lessons are on Mondays and Fridays this term.

Children will need to come to school dressed in their full PE kit.

Reading books will be changed at least once a week.

Home Learning will be set each week via our learning platforms, Spelling Shed and TT Rockstars.  We ask that children spend 5/10 minutes each day on both spelling and maths on these sites. There will be games available all of the time for children to access and we will also be setting specific tasks to reflect our learning in class.

Please also hear your child read on a daily basis and record in their reading diaries - daily practise really makes a difference!

Please ensure children have water bottles and reading books in school everyday.

Children only require one snack a day which will be had during our morning break.
